Uplifting and kid-safe music
CHUM provides core social safety net programs which include emergency food, shelter, advocacy, and outreach to over 7,000 hungry, homeless and low-income people each year. Housing advocates and street case managers provide stabilization services through case management programs for homeless or imminently homeless families and single adults. CHUM’s congregational outreach and community organizing efforts center on social justice issues relating to homelessness, poverty and employment.

Volunteer Oportunities

Altar Guild is looking for two volunteers to serve for the month of May.  Please call Peggy or Barb for questions if you are interested. 

Holy Cross Helping Hands:  Work in Fellowship with others on small jobs around the church each Thursdays @ 9-11 a.m..

Damiano Opportunities:  We are scheduled to serve on Saturday on May 21, June 18, and July 23 from 8:30-1:30.  We need six people to help prepare and serve the meal.  Sign up sheet in Narthex.

The Praise Team is looking for more voices!  We'd love a tenor, bass and melody singers!  Contact Caroline or Erin.  Come and join us at a practice on Wednesday nights @ 5:30 p.m.

Choir practice is every Wednesday @ 6:30 p.m.  All are welcome to join!


Shiny Paper Drive

Keep Saving your Shiny Paper! You may drop off your shiny paper on Sunday mornings, or during office hours, in the bins located in the lower level entry way. 

 Acceptable items: magazines, catalogs, shiny newspaper inserts (such as Target, Kohls, JC Penney, etc.), white copy/office paper

 Unacceptable items: newspapers, garbage, paper bags or plastic bags, wet material, envelopes with plastic windows, colored paper, plastic, phone books

If you have any free time and would like to help with this project, please call Paul or Maureen Gunderson.   Many hands will make lighter work! Thank you!!
